    Ryan Morgan – BS, CSCS, FMS Founder & CEO Credentials: - Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science-Rockhurst University - National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist - Functional Movement Screen –Certified Specialist Biography: Before Ryan became a certified strength and conditioning specialist he was a successful baseball player at the college and professional level playing 3 years with the Kansas City Royals. Ryan developed a love for strength and conditioning through his athletic career as he saw direct results from applying what he learned through school and personal research to his own workouts. His desire to lead others started in college when he wrote the off season conditioning program and taught the workouts to his team due to the fact that his school did not have a strength coach employed. From then, he knew that if he couldn’t play baseball for the rest of his life then this was what he wanted to do. After baseball, Ryan began working as the strength and conditioning coordinator for the St. Louis Pirates Baseball Organization, a premier select team in Missouri that works to advance high school players careers onto college and professional baseball. Ryan also built his own gym in the baseball facility and started training athletes who wanted to take their game to the next level as well as many of the parents who wanted to get in shape. It was during this time that Ryan developed his own philosophy on how to train athletes and the general population, which is where the idea of Pursuit Fitness & Performance was created. Ryan has helped individuals from the ages 15-70 reach goals such as college scholarships, weight loss, pain management and improving and attaining functional movement. Ryan is very active in the strength and conditioning community (studying the latest research on how to maximize performance, identify and correct people’s limiting factors, how to eat in order to stay lean and healthy). His goal is to continually learn from the best people in the industry and stay up to date on the latest research in order to become build the best gym in the country at helping people live a better quality of life. Since baseball, Ryan has developed a new passion which is teaching people how to put a simple plan in place to help them achieve the body and life that they want while creating habits that will extend their life, prevent disease and keep people feeling young. Ryan believes that relationship building is the most important part of his business. He wants to have a genuine connection with each one of his clients in order to create a relationship that fosters accountability, trust and commitment. He believes this is the only way to get long term results.

    - Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science-Truman State University - National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist - American College of Sports Medicine-Certified Health Fitness Specialist - Functional Movement Screen –Certified Specialist Biography: Adam began his career as a personal trainer in 2008. While pursuing his B.S. in Exercise Science at Truman State University, he had developed an interest in becoming a Strength and Conditioning Coach for an athletic team. After spending some time in the field, however, he decided that there was a greater need for training general population clients, and realized that he personally found it more rewarding. Over his years as a trainer, his proudest moments have come in the form of thank you cards and stories from clients, telling him about the changes that he was able to help them make – both physically and mentally. His training philosophy has morphed and evolved since he first began training. Through activities Adam personally participated in, such as running, cycling, soccer, and rock climbing, he began to pick up nagging injuries. After researching and seeking out help, he began a regimen of corrective exercises, and changed his personal focus on improving movement quality. Adam has made an effort to apply that knowledge to his clients and help them move better along their path to getting stronger, leaner and healthier. Everyone’s starting place and ending place are different, so Adam thinks it is important that the path they follow along the way is as individualized as possible. At the end of the day, it is all about finding what will work for you in the long term and sets you up for the greatest success. Adam is really excited to be part of the PFP community, and loves the family type atmosphere. He is looking forward to helping the community grow and get stronger, while helping deliver the best service around.

    Anna Sherry PFP Certified Training Specialist & Balanced Habits Food Coach Credentials: - Bachelor in Exercise Science: Simpson College Biography: I grew up in an athletic household, always running to various practices and events. I have always enjoyed exercise and viewed it as a fun activity to spend time with my family and friends and a way to relieve stress. Frequent movement was always a part of my life, and as I grew older, I became addicted to the feeling of euphoria when working out. Exercise is so much more than image, it makes you much happier! I have experienced friends and family struggle with various diseases and complications from weight gain, but also turn their life around and find a healthy solution with exercise. That is such an inspiring thing to watch and I want to share that with as many people as possible. The best part about a healthy lifestyle is that you get to do what you enjoy! Find something you love and stick with it, no need to run marathons if you hate running! I strive to help others find their connection with physical activity and make it a part of their life.     Biography: Katie joins PFP with high expectations of impacting members to achieve goals in every area of their life, and is excited to continue her career as a Personal Trainer as she continues pursuing knowledge in exercise science and nutrition. Katie played three sports in High School and received a scholarship participating in women’s soccer and women’s softball at The College of Charleston, South Carolina. As an athlete, she recognized the importance of strength training and conditioning, in order for individuals to achieve goals, prevent long-term injuries, as well as maintaining a healthy adult life-style. Post-graduation, Katie spent four years at Mary Institute and Country Day School (MICDS) as Head Coach for the middle school girls’ program (soccer, basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse). During this time, she discovered the joy of coaching players both on and off the field, developing the skills of each sport as well as imparting character and integrity in the younger generation! When Katie learned about the mission of PFP, “to inspire people to become the best version of themselves,” she was immediately drawn to the heart of PFP with an emphasis on building relationships, and is committed to serving, educating, and coaching residents in the city of St. Louis to be transformed “inside and outside” of the gym! Katie has a strong passion for encouraging people to utilize their unique strengths, skills, and gifts, and she is humbled and honored with the opportunity to assist members in accomplishing their goals. Katie considers herself “an open book coach,” and aspires to be a motivating teammate and resource to every member of the PFP community. Katie dedicates her personal life to building relationships with her family and friends, and she pursues any recreational sport that gives her the chance to sweat; On a given sunny day, you’re likely to find her on a local tracking running full-field sprints, or reading one of her favorite books, including: Isaiah, Revelation, John, and Romans!   • Andrew Hamerlinck

    PFP Certified Training Specialist

    Biography: Andrew initially went through life expecting to become an engineer before eventually realizing that fitness and coaching was the route for him. Andrew and his three brothers grew up playing any and every sport possible, which resulted in many broken objects in the house (sorry, Mom). Andrew was first drawn to fitness as a means to being a better athlete, but soon fell in love with the effects that it had on other areas of life like improving confidence. Andrew graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in Exercise Science. While an undergrad at Lindenwood, Andrew was a member of the university’s soccer team and volunteered with the school’s strength and conditioning staff. Andrew also completed several internships focusing with helping other athlete’s improve their performance, whether it be by getting stronger, faster, or in better shape. Andrew is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Performance at Lindenwood, where he has joined the men’s soccer team as an Assistant Coach. Andrew first heard about Pursuit Fitness and Performance through one of his professors. After hearing the professor hold PFP in such high regards, Andrew knew that he needed to see what all of the fuss was about. Meeting with the staff and being around the members solidified the idea that this was a family that Andrew wanted to join. Andrew is excited to be in an environment with such a positive mindset and to be able to help the many awesome members reach their health and fitness goals.

  • Jenny Flores

    Administrative Assistant

    Biography: Jenny worked in the marketing and community relations field for eight years before she decided to stay at home after the birth of her first son. She continued to stay at home and raise her three children (2 boys, 1 girl) for nearly nine years. She jumped at the opportunity to transition back into the workforce by joining the Pursuit Fitness and Performance team. She enjoys exercising, volunteering at her children’s school, making music playlists for friends, and spending time with her family. She knows first-hand how important fitness and health is to our bodies. She was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome in January 2017 and lost the ability to move her body from the neck down. Her recovery was accelerated by the strength training she received as an active member of Pursuit Fitness and Performance.

    Member Consultant

    Biography: I am a graduate of The University of Kansas. It was there that I met my husband Philip who I have been married to for 30 years. We have three children: Scott is 26, Maggie is 24 and Jack s 22. We have lived in St. Louis for 12 years. Prior to my job at PFP I was an Executive Assistant to the President of a company in HIgh Ridge, Missouri and prior to that I taught math and science to 5th and 6th graders. I love a challenge and don’t like to be told, “No.” I love to be outside, try new recipes, and spend time with my family. I wear two bracelets–one says, “Impact” and the other, “No Regrets.” I wake up each day hoping to make a positive impact on at least one person, and I work hard to live my life without regret
